Jackie Bonasera of Long Island, New York has a pet pit bull named Cain. (Jackie's age wasn't given . . . but she looks like she's in her 40s.)
On Friday, Jackie was upstairs drying her hair, when she heard Cain barking. Since he almost NEVER barks, Jackie knew something was wrong, and went downstairs to check it out.
And she found flames spreading from a fire in her garage to the rest of the house.
Jackie got out of the house quickly . . . but she noticed that Cain hadn't come out with her. So she put her robe over her face to protect herself from smoke . . . and went back IN to get HIM.
Jackie said, quote, "He saved my life . . . I had to save his." Both of them got back out without being injured. They aren't sure how the fire started, but it took 70 firefighters to put it out.
Tomorrow is "Star Wars Day" . . . all because some Star Wars nerd heard "May the Fourth" a few years ago, and made him think of the line, "May the force be with you."
And there's a new parody video on the official "Star Wars" YouTube page to celebrate it, called "Star Wars Day Attack Ad".
It's done exactly like a political ad, but it's, quote, "Paid for by the Emperor's Committee to Destroy May the Fourth" . . . and it talks about how Jedis use the Force for evil things, like mind control.
