Game three of the World Series ended in dramatic fashion on Saturday. If you didn't see it, Cardinals first baseman Allen Craig got thrown out at home in the bottom of the ninth inning.
But the third base umpire ruled that Red Sox third baseman Will Middlebrooks INTERFERED with him, which he did. Basically, Middlebrooks was on the ground, and lifted his legs up to TRIP him.
But because of the ruling, Craig scored, and the Cardinals won 5 to 4. (Search for "Must C: Conclusion." He trips him at :21, and there's a replay at :56.)
(By the way, the umpire who made the call was Jim Joyce . . . the same guy who messed up an easy call in 2010 and costa pitcher a perfect game.)
