Katie Crosley of Grady County, Oklahoma has a rescue dachshund named True.  (--Katie's age wasn't given, but she looks like she's about 30.  Grady County is 40 miles southwest of Oklahoma City.)

--She says she took True when no one else wanted him . . . because he's blind, deaf, and only has three legs.

--And True returned the favor eight days ago . . . when he saved the family from a fire that destroyed their house.

--The light on the front porch had an electrical short, and caused a fire that engulfed the front of the house, and burned the entire thing down.

--But True was able to sense trouble, and woke up Katie by barking.  So Katie and her seven-week-old son Jace were able to escape out the back.
