About one in every 4,600 high-school seniors manage to get a perfect score on the S.A.T. But two 17-year-old twin sisters BOTH just aced it.
--Marie and Tina Vachovsky are twins at Canyon Crest Academy in San Diego. Earlier this month, they both took the S.A.T. . . . and EACH of them got a perfect score of 2,400.
--Only 360 students nationwide got perfect scores last year . . . out of 1.6 MILLION that took the S.A.T. And in California, only 83 seniors got a 2,400.
--It was the second time Tina and Marie took the S.A.T. They only got a 2,200 the first time . . . which is the 98.6th percentile. (--That means they did better than 98.6% of the people that took the test.)
--The twins retook the test to see if they could improve their score. Tina said, quote, "We actually studied this time."
