We don't have all the details we'd like on this story, but we'll tell you what we know.
--A 63-year-old woman in southeastern France tried to commit suicide on Wednesday, but was prevented at the last minute . . . by her DOG. (--We don't know her name, the dog's name, or where in France they were.)
--She fired several shots from a .22-caliber rifle . . . we're not sure at what . . . then turned the gun on herself.
--She was trying to shoot herself in the heart, but just as she went to pull the trigger, her German shepherd jumped on her, knocking the gun away. A policeman said the dog, quote, "probably sensed things and knocked into her to save her."
--She was still hit, but the bullet missed her heart. Her husband found her fully conscious, and took her to the hospital. She's expected to make a full recovery.
