St. Louis Rams receiver Tavon Austin scored on a huge 65-yard touchdown run against the Bears yesterday, on a pitch-and-reverse play on the third play of the game.
But as the Rams celebrated in the end zone, Fox NFL analyst Daryl Johnston accidentally called him Tavon MARTIN . . . obviously a reference to TRAYVON Martin, the black teenager who was gunned down last year in Florida by George Zimmerman.

It rained in Los Angeles on Wednesday night, and one news report basically made it sound like the END OF DAYS.
A reporter for NBC 4 was out on the streets, and talked about how there was some heavy drizzling and even some WIND . . . then noted that people were walking FASTER than normal.
And the segment also included first-hand accounts from people who BRAVED the storm . . . like one guy who explained that his girlfriend forgot her umbrella, and had to go BACK inside to get it.

If you haven't seen it yet, a new Kmart ad is creating a controversy because some people . . . including a group called One Million Moms . . . say it's too SEXUAL.
It's six guys in boxer shorts, moving their hips while "Jingle Bells" plays on hand-bells. So it looks like whatever the guys are swinging UNDERNEATH their boxers is what's making the noise.
(Search for "Kmart - Show Your Joe." The boxers are revealed at :10.)
