One of the biggest stories at The Masters this weekend was Tianlang Guan. (Pronounced Tin-long Wahn)
He's the 14-year-old Chinese kid who became the youngest person to ever make the cut after the second day. And he ended up shooting a pretty impressive 12-over par for the tournament.
Well, a CBS affiliate in Lafayette, Louisiana covered the story, and apparently no one told sports anchor George Faust that it's 2013. Because he described Guan as a, quote, "14-year-old CHINAMAN" . . . which obviously is not the preferred nomenclature.
(Deadspin.com has the video. Search for "Louisiana TV Station Refers To Tianlang as a Chinaman.")
