I think it sends a weird message to college students when their school SELLS OUT to a PRISON. Isn't the point of college to get yourself in a position in life to AVOID prison?
--According to a new report, Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida is close to selling its football stadium naming rights to GEO Group.
--If you don't know GEO Group, they describe themselves as, quote, "the world's leading provider of correctional, detention, and community reentry services."
--GEO Group is apparently willing to pay FAU $5 MILLION for the naming rights. Its CEO got his degree at FAU.
