This is a rare case where yes, the criminal is stupid . . . but he managed to make the cops look EVEN WORSE.
--Over the past few weeks, there's been a rash of bank robberies in the Squirrel Hill area of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. So the police have been keeping surveillance on seven banks in the area.
--On Monday, they were monitoring the banks when 33-year-old Joseph Guiney of Greenfield, Pennsylvania went into one of them, pulled a gun, and demanded money from the teller. She gave him the cash and he ran out.
--And the cops NEVER NOTICED. Even though they were doing surveillance at that exact moment on that exact bank, the robbery STILL went down successfully.
--The police refused to say how they're doing the surveillance, and how many officers were watching the bank as it got robbed.
--On the bright side, at least the cops got a good look at the robber, and confirmed that it WAS Joseph, and he's suspected in three of the other bank robberies too. For now, he's still at large.
