How did THIS happen? And who can we blame?
--According to a new survey, men are now almost TWICE as likely as women to want a big, over-the-top "fairytale wedding."
--In the survey, only 9% of women said they would spend their savings to have a massive dream wedding . . . versus 16% of men.
--The survey also found 9% of engaged couples are planning to delay their wedding because of the cost . . . and 13% are thinking of asking guests for money toward the wedding instead of gifts.
