If you haven't seen it yet, a group of Harvard students decided to be the first to send a HAMBURGER into space.  They tied it to a weather balloon along with a camera and a GPS unit.

--According to the YouTube video, it got up to about 90,000 feet before the balloon popped.  Then they found it in a tree about 130 miles from where they launched it.
