Would you RISK YOUR LIFE for cheap gas?  What if it meant driving into the middle of a massive DRUG WAR?  Apparently gas prices have gotten so high, people are saying YES.

--People in the San Diego area are now FLOCKING across the border to Tijuana . . . where it's REALLY, REALLY UNSAFE . . . just to save on gas.

--In California, gas prices are currently at an average of $4.66-a-gallon.  That's easily the highest in the country.  In San Diego, gas is even higher, averaging $4.72.

--Meanwhile, just across the border, gas is $3.30 a gallon.  So if you're filling up a 16-gallon tank, you'd save almost $23 by filling up in Mexico.

--The gas in Mexico isn't the same quality as the gas in the U.S. . . . but your car will still run fine.  Assuming you make it back across the border.
