According to a survey in New Zealand by Weight Watchers, young people don't know how to cook . . . even though a lot of them THINK they do.

--45% of adults born in 1990 or later admit that they don't know how to cook . . . and the ones that CAN cook don't actually make things from scratch.  HALF of the people who think they can cook consider heating up chicken nuggets to be cooking.

--Four out of five young adults say they NEVER use fresh ingredients when they cook . . . and two in five couldn't identify a zucchini.

--It's not all bad.  Many of them said that they use frozen vegetables when they cook . . . which experts said is almost as healthy as using fresh ones.

--But one in five young people said that they usually eat dinner in front of the television . . . and one in 10 said that they eat it alone in bed.
