Marcos Orozco started his career as the singer of Los Fabulosos Cuatro in 1990 and then joined David Lee Garza Y Los Musicales in 1993. He made six albums with Los Musicales before forming his own band, Grupo Rebelde, in 2001. He has released several albums as a solo artist, such as Ahora Y Siempre Simplemente Marcos! and Cien por Ciento Marcos Orozco.
Mike Gonzalez and The Iconiczz are a Tejano band that was formed by Mike Gonzalez, the son of the late Tejano legend Jimmy Gonzalez. The band pays tribute to Jimmy’s musical legacy and his iconic band Mazz, which won multiple Grammy and Latin Grammy awards. Mike Gonzalez and The Iconiczz released their debut album, Te Llevo En Mi Alma, in January 2023, featuring songs like “Mi Necesidad”. The band’s lead singer is Alex Basulto, who is joined by backup vocalist Di Marie.
Grupo Asalto is an emerging band based in Snyder, Texas, that plays Tejano and conjunto music. The band is led by Jordan Rodriguez, a young singer and accordionist who started his musical career at the age of 14. Grupo Asalto aims to win the hearts of Tejano and conjunto fans with their combination of traditional Tejano sounds with modern influences
The Labor Day Weekend Dance will take place on Sunday, September 3, 2023, from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. You can buy your presale tickets for $20 online or at the door.
