The first-ever animated video featuring Selena premiered on Friday as the official music video for “Salta la Ranita,” a song from her posthumous remix album Moonchild Mixes released last month.

The catchy, upbeat cumbia was recorded by a 15-year-old Selena and was originally featured on the 1987 Selena y Los Dinos album And The Winner Is.

The colorful music video features Selena singing and performing her signature dance moves at a frog wedding wearing the iconic sparkling purple jumpsuit worn at her legendary Houston Astrodome concert in 1995.

The remixed track is one of the 13 digitally enhanced songs from the Moonchild Mixes album produced by her A.B. Quintanilla III to make the “Queen of Cumbia” sound exactly as she did just before her death over 27 years ago. Selena was tragically shot and killed by her fan club president on March 31, 1995.
