La Mafia frontman Oscar De La Rosa had a slight mishap while performing at the Nortex Live Music Festival in Monterrey, Mexico, this past weekend when the singer for the two-time GRAMMY-winning band decided to get closer to the crowd to sing with them but misjudged a jump from the stage toward the crowd and fell a few feet to the floor, according to a video shared on social media.

De La Rosa immediately told the crowd he was okay and continued performing along with the crowd. It was later revealed by La Mafia that De La Rosa injured his hand and knee from the slight fall and is doing well.

Nortex Live! held features performances from the best in Tejano and Norteño music. This year’s performers included La Mafia, Lalo MoraSolidoLos PalominosControlDavid OlivarezRam Herrera and more at Arena Monterrey.

La Mafia will continue their Metas Tour with tour dates this week in Minnesota and Ohio.
