Jay Perez invited to perform with Miami Symphony on June 8

Jay Perezwill be part of an exclusive performance with multiple Grammy-winning producerEmilio Estefanand the Miami Symphony at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Miami, Florida, on June 8.

“It’s something I always wanted to do here in San Antonio but never got the chance to do it, so now I’m gonna do it, sing with a symphony in Miami. It’s going to be beautiful,” Perez tellsTejano Nation.

The performance will be part of a corporate event forCano Health, a health management company with primary care medical centers in Florida, Texas, Nevada, and Puerto Rico. Perez wasnamed Brand Ambassador for its South Texas medical centersin August 2020.

“I’m honored to be a part of this great organization, they’re a great family,” said Perez. “I’m excited to be the ambassador for Cano Health medical group here in San Antonio and clinics all over the State of Texas.”

The multiple Grammy-nominated Tejano singer sent a few songs to Estefan that Perez hopes to perform as part of the event, from R&B to Spanish Pop.

Perez, known as “The Voice,” saw late Tejano iconEmilio Navairaperform with the San Antonio Symphony and hoped to do that one day as well, now he will get the chance this summer in Miami.

“I’ve been looking forward to something like this for all my career,” said Perez. “To be able to sing with any symphony, especially Miami Symphony, is a plus for me because I’ve always wanted to do that.”
